Terms of use
These terms apply to Sydney Mortgage Brokers Directory, an independent directory of mortgage broker businesses in SYDNEY published by Compare Finance Brokers. Every score on the site is computed from public review data using one published rubric (see how we score); no business pays to be listed or scored. Using the site means you accept these terms.
What listings and scores mean
Listings and scores are information, not an endorsement or a recommendation. Business details can change faster than any directory updates, so confirm the specifics (availability, pricing, credentials, insurance) directly with a business before engaging it. We work to keep the data accurate but do not guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free.
Enquiries and referral fees
This site may route enquiries to listed businesses or partners and may receive referral fees for doing so. Fees never affect scores or rankings: those are computed from public review data under the published rubric, and no payment can change them.
Listing corrections and removals
Corrections, score disputes, and removal requests for listed businesses are handled through the listing policy, which sets out what qualifies and how to submit a request.
Using the site
You may browse the site and contact listed businesses through it for genuine enquiries. You may not scrape or republish the compiled directory content, submit false or misleading enquiries through the forms, interfere with the site’s operation, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
Ownership of content
The compiled directory, editorial text, scores, and presentation are owned by Compare Finance Brokers. The underlying reviews belong to their authors and remain on the platforms where they were published; we store derived analysis, not review text. Business names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Compare Finance Brokers accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from use of the site, reliance on its information, or any engagement you enter into with a listed business. Any contract you form with a business is yours and theirs alone. Liability that the law does not allow to be excluded is not excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any dispute about them falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Updates to these terms
These terms can change. The version on this page, dated above, is the one in force, and using the site after an update means you accept it. If anything here is unclear, contact hello@comparefinancebrokers.au.
